TOUR PROGRAMME
DAY 1: MARMARIS-BURSA JOURNEY-GREEN MOSQUE-KOZAHAN-ULUCAMI-İSTANBUL JOURNEY-HOTEL
At 05:00 in the morning, we meet our valued guests at Eşref Girginç Park (opposite LC Waikiki) and move towards Bursa. After the necessities and food breaks to be given on the way, we reach Bursa and visit the Green Mosque, which was also used as the Assembly of the Ottoman Empire, we see the calligraphy on the crown gate and the Early Ottoman Architecture. Then we visit the Green Tomb built by Çelebi Sultan Mehmet, decorated with turquoise coloured tiles. Afterwards, we visit Bursa Ulu Mosque, the largest Ottoman Mosque with 20 domes in the same period, and we give free time in Koza Han. After a free dinner break where you have the opportunity to taste Bursa's famous iskender, we move to our hotel in Istanbul and check in to our hotel for rest. DAY 2: SULTAN AHMET SQUARE-YEREBATAN CISTERN- TOPKAPI PALACE-AYA SOPHIA - SULTAN AHMET MOSQUE -KAPALI BAZAAR-HOTEL
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we leave our hotel to visit the Historical Peninsula. Accompanied by our guide, we go down to Sultan Ahmet Square and visit the Sultan Ahmet Mosque, one of the symbols of Istanbul with six minarets decorated with 20 thousand tiles, known as the Blue Mosque by the westerners, admired by the whole world. After understanding the place and importance of this enormous mosque with six minarets in history, we go to the Basilica Cistern, which has a magnificent and mystical atmosphere. The Basilica Cistern, where some scenes from high-grossing films such as ‘Da Vinci's Code’ and ‘Inferno’ were shot, was built by the Byzantine Emperor Justinianus I to meet the water needs of the region. After this pleasant trip, we move to Topkapi Palace for our next visit. This valuable cultural heritage was used as the administrative centre of the state for 400 years of the 600-year history of the Ottoman Empire and hosted nearly 4000 people in some periods. With its beautiful gardens, treasure room and the Treasury of Sacred Relics, we visit and get to know Topkapı Palace, which is the most valuable museum of Turkey, where the sultans also lived, accompanied by the narration of our guide. Then we take a break from this pleasant day to have lunch. After lunch, we visit Hagia Sophia with its 1500 years of splendour, mosaics on the walls and colourful marbles. Hagia Sophia Church, formerly known as Hagia Sophia Church, now known as Hagia Sophia Mosque, where two religions blend in one structure, is among the most important monuments of world architectural history that have survived to the present day. After visiting and being informed about this precious cultural heritage, we go to the Grand Bazaar, known as the largest bazaar in the world and at the same time one of the oldest covered bazaars. The Grand Bazaar, which resembles a giant-scale labyrinth with its aesthetic design, has nearly 4000 shops and employs around 25000 people. We get information about the Grand Bazaar, which is the attraction point of Istanbul both in terms of tourism and trade, from our guide and give you free time. Since our hotel is very close to the Grand Bazaar, you can spend as much time as you want in the Grand Bazaar and then go to the hotel or make a different programme. DAY 3: BALAT-ORTAKÖY- FISH-BREAD IN EMİNÖNÜ-OPTIONAL BOSPHORUS TOUR -GALATA TOWER- ISTİKLAL STREET WALKING TOUR-HOTEL
After breakfast at our hotel, we leave the hotel to make our visits today. First of all, we go to Balat, famous for its colourful houses and narrow stone-paved streets. We take beautiful photos and get valuable information from our guide in this cosmopolitan area, which is home to Jewish, Armenian and Greek communities. Afterwards, we go to Ortaköy, a region overlooking the Bosphorus with its favourite nightspots, bars, cafes and restaurants. We take beautiful group photos overlooking the Bosphorus and then we see Ortaköy Square, one of the most popular meeting places in Istanbul, and then we reach Ortaköy Büyük Mecidiye Mosque. This mosque, one of the landmarks of Istanbul, seems to be standing on the sea. After completing this visit, we go to Eminönü. Since 1664, we see the Spice Bazaar, which is a living history and one of the oldest bazaars in Istanbul, and we give free time for those who want to eat fish and bread in Eminönü. Afterwards, we go to Eminönü Pier to realise the Bosphorus Tour with our guests who want to participate. While exploring the shores of Istanbul, which has been home to many civilisations throughout history, the beauties of the Bosphorus, historical buildings from the sea, we breathe the sea air and enjoy this wonderful atmosphere. During the Bosphorus tour, we see the symbolic value of Istanbul such as Galata Tower, Topkapı Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Bosphorus Bridge, Savarona Yacht, Rumeli Fortress, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, Anatolian Fortress, Kuleli Military High School, Beylerbeyi Palace, Maiden's Tower. After our pleasant boat trip, we get off at Karaköy and walk towards Galata Tower. After receiving information about its history from our guide, we go to Istiklal Street, another one of Istanbul's famous streets, and have a pleasant walking tour. DAY 4: DOLMABAHCE PALACE - RETURN JOURNEY TO MARMARIS
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we check out and visit Dolmabahçe Palace at 09:00.
Note: Dolmabahçe Palace Museum is booked and the given reservation time must be respected.
Dolmabahçe Palace was designed by the Armenian Balyan Family with the latest Ottoman Architecture and European architecture, and its construction took 13 years. We visit this valuable palace, which is the place where the last Great Leader Atatürk resided and died, where you will be fascinated by the four thousand square metre examination hall decorated with a 4.5 tonne British-made crystal chandelier with high spirituality, accompanied by the narration of our guide. After our visit to this magnificent palace, we are on our way back to Marmaris with the pleasure of having visited Istanbul to the fullest. After the necessities and meal breaks we will give on the way, we reach Marmaris at night and say goodbye to our valued guests with the hope of seeing you on the next tours.
