TOUR PROGRAMME

DAY 1: MARMARİS-ÇANAKKALE JOURNEY-TRUVA ANTIQUE CITY-TROYA MUSEUM-TEVFİKİKİYE VILLAGE-HOTEL

We gather in front of Eşref Girginç Park at 06:00 in the morning with our valued guests and start this special trip. After the breaks we will give on the way, we reach the ancient city of Troy to make our first visit. Troy, one of the most important and well-known ancient cities of history, is a city that sheds light on a history of approximately 5000 years and is included in the Unesco World Cultural Heritage list. After taking our photos with the Trojan Horse at the entrance of the ancient city, we visit this valuable ancient city with our guide and listen to important information. After completing our visit, we visit the award-winning Troy Museum, which reflects the life and archaeological history of the ancient city of Troy and its cultures, which made history with Homer's Iliad Epic, through the artifacts from the excavations. Opened after 2018 was declared the Year of Troy, this valuable museum is the winner of the European Museum of the Year award in 2020. After this visit, which will give you the opportunity to visualise the ancient city in front of your eyes even better, we set off towards our hotel by passing through the Tevfikiye Village square. This village, which is the closest settlement to the ruins, is being transformed into an archaeo-village that keeps the spirit of the Troy period alive. The squares, coffee houses, dispensaries of the villages are being renovated to reflect the Troy period. After a short journey, we reach our Çanakkale hotel where we will have dinner and stay. DAY 2: GELIBOLU PENINSULA HISTORICAL NATIONAL PARK-KİLİTBAHİR CASTLE-SEYİT ONBAŞI MONUMENT- MARTYRS MONUMENT-57TH REGIMENT MARTYRDOM-CONKBAYIRI-ANZAK BAY-1915 HİLALİ AHMER HOSPITAL EXHIBITION

After breakfast, we are on our way to the Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park to start our full-day Martyrs' Cemeteries tour, where we will experience intense emotions. Established in 1973, our National Park is one of the most impressive places in our country. Monuments and martyrdoms have been built in memory of thousands of casualties in the Çanakkale Wars, as well as many war relics and artefacts from that period. We enter such an atmosphere that it is impossible not to feel the war and what happened. While listening to the stories of sacrifice and heroism from our guide, it is inevitable to experience many emotions together. Sometimes we feel sadness, sometimes pride, embarrassment in the face of all the sacrifices made and then anger at the world order. Our main visits that will make us feel these feelings will be Kilitbahir Castle, Seyit Onbaşı Monument and Mecidiye Bastions, Çanakkale Martyrs' Monument and 57th Regiment Martyrdom. Finally, we visit Conkbayırı with the Atatürk Monument, where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk gave the order for the offensive. After our Martyrs' programme, which we will complete with intense emotions, we see Anzac Cove, which is located on the Gallipoli Peninsula, where the Anzacs landed during the Gallipoli War, panoramically and listen to the information of our guide. Afterwards, we move on to the 1915 Hilali Ahmer Hospital Exhibition, one of the newly opened museums, for the last visit of the day. In our visit, where you will experience emotional moments at every moment of your visit, perhaps you will not be able to hold back your tears, you will see how our soldiers who were wounded at the front during the Çanakkale battles and needed treatment were treated with mobile hospitals. The audio re-enactments in the exhibition areas will take you back to those days and you will feel what happened more deeply. After completing this visit, we return to our hotel for dinner and accommodation. ÇANAKKALE ACCOMMODATION (Kule Hotel)

DAY 3: TRUVA HORSE-ÇANAKKALE NAVAL MUSEUM-MIRRORED BAZAAR-RETURN TO MARMARIS

After breakfast, we leave our hotel to make the last visits of this special trip. After a short walk along the promenade, we reach the Trojan Horse, which was left from the film Troy, starring Brad Pitt, and which was gifted to Çanakkale after the filming, and take pleasant photos. Afterwards, we visit Çanakkale Naval Museum, one of the must-see museums of Çanakkale. In the museum, we also see the Nusret Mine Ship from the Ottoman period and listen to its story. After your museum visit, we visit the Aynalı Bazaar, the historical bazaar of our distinguished city, accompanied by the folk song 'Aynalı Bazaar in Çanakkale'. After the free time we will give you to shop and get to know the bazaar, we meet in our vehicle and we are on our way back to Marmaris with good memories. After the breaks we will give on the way, we return to Marmaris, leave you at the points we pick you up and say goodbye to see you on other tours.
