We invite you, our valued guests who love roads and journeys, to make discoveries in Urla, one of the paradise corners of the Aegean, where fifty kilometres of coastline meets the blue of the sparkling sea, where the ruins of history are still accompanied. We aim to discover the most beautiful places of the region together, to capture the most beautiful shots and to collect beautiful memories.
Although our "Chios Artichoke", chosen by this extraordinary geography and us, is known as a vegetable, it is actually a flower bud that has not yet opened. Our "Chios Artichoke", which is a perennial plant with purple flowers, is a perennial plant with early, flat and not too tight leaves specific to the Urla Peninsula. Artichoke, named after "Cynara", the woman in love with the Greek God Zeus with the countless values it adds to our health, invites you to Urla this year with its heart hidden between its leaves. As Jean Anthelme Brillat Savarin, one of the famous gastronomes of the 18th century, said "The discovery of a new dish is more useful than discovering a new star." TOUR SCHEDULE:
We meet you, our valued guests, at 07:00 in the morning at Marmaris Eşref Girginç Park (opposite LC Waikiki) and set off towards Izmir. After a free breakfast break on the road, we continue on our way and reach Sığacık for our first visit.
Sığacık is a coastal town that stands out with the peace it gives to people. Hidden inside the castle walls, it resembles a complete film set with its cobblestone streets, mansions with courtyards, bay windows, wooden shutters, excellent architecture and enlightened inhabitants. Sığacık, where tiny streets weave in the middle of citrus groves, attracts us with its castle dating back to the time of Suleiman the Magnificent and its charming harbour. After a short walk with our guide, we turn our route to Urla after enjoying taking beautiful photos on the streets like this film set or in the castle.
After our break, we reach the Urla Artichoke Festival area. We give free time in the festival area. During this free time, you can watch the workshops given by famous chefs and taste the flavours prepared by the local people. After enjoying the festival area, we are on our way back to Marmaris. After a free dinner break, we return to Marmaris and leave you at the points where we pick you up and say goodbye with the hope of seeing you on other tours.
